Why See Henry VIII?

The King of England

Witness the gripping saga of the fiery monarch, Henry VIII, and his six wives. Texas Ballet Theatre will perform the true story about the King of England whose need for a son led him to marry six women and made him become one of the most well-known Monarchs in history.

To be a wife of Henry VIII, was in the end, like signing your death certificate. This piece of ballet is choreographed by Carl Coomer with music composed by Gustav Holst.

Texas Ballet Theatre is an internationally recognized company which is proud to have a repertoire that is expressive, collaborative, and creative.
